METALLICA - Metallibash 2007 Announced

The Metallibash is a fan convention supported by METALLICA and has been a yearly event since 2002. Encyclopedia Metallica has issued the following update from the Metallibash 2007 organizers:
"Hey everyone, we have hinted at something brewing on the Bash front for a while now. I finally have some information to pass along. The Bash is alive and well and kicking some Major ass!The MetalliBash 2007 is going to be the place to be this year!
Where: Queen Mary - Brittania Room - 1126 Queen’s Highway in Long Beach, CA
When: June 16th, 2007
Doors open at 7:00 PM
Show starts at 8:00 PM
We have some rocking entertainment lined up for you this year. Trust me you will not be disappointed. The lineup includes:
HARPTALLICA
Harptallica started in early 2006 when Ashley Toman, a grad student at the Eastman School of Music, decided to arrange one Metallica song 'Fade To Black' for two harps. Somehow this turned into 10 Metallica Songs and a CD which they are recorded in November.
PHATTALLICA
Phattallica is composed of members of UNDERCOVER and STEEL ROD, paying homage to Metallica. For the MetalliBash, Phattallica will be covering tracks off of the Garage Inc., Load, and Re-Load albums.
DAMAGE INC
Damage Inc’s members all contribute certain styles that capture a mix of classic Metallica, with the energy and intensity similar to one of their live performances. Playing in venues like the House of Blues, the Galaxy Theater, and the Key Club in Hollywood, this band can effortlessly play ninety-minute sets back to back."
