KOTIPELTO - Summer Festival Schedule For Finland Confirmed, Frontman Checks In

KOTIPELTO, featuring STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto, have confirmed four festival dates for Finland. They are as follows:
June
8 - Tampere Finland - Sauna Open Air16 - Vantaa, Finland - Myötätuulirock
July
11 - Tampere, Finland - Tammerfest21 - Hämeenlinna, Finland - Wanaja Festival **
** Fans should note that former Stratovarius bassist Jari Kainulainen will be playing bass for Kotipelto at the Wanaja Festival
As previously reported, Stratovarius recently did three shows in Japan. Kotipelto has issued the following update:
"Hello all!I just came back home to Helsinki a couple of hours ago from the Stratovarius Japan tour 2007. That was a lot of fun to play again with the guys and of course to see so many fans enjoying our live shows. I had a great time on the stage and so did the other guys.
I thank all the people who came to see the shows from the bottom of my heart: Domo arigato!
I am looking forward to go back to Japan with the next Strato-album or with my own band."
