MIDNATTSOL Vocalist Issues Update On Forthcoming Album

MIDNATTSOL vocalist Carmen Elise Espenaes, the younger sister of LEAVES' EYES vocalist Liv Kristine, has issued the following update on the band's forthcoming second album:
"Regarding the new album, it's going very well, actually. After our exams and concerts we all have more time to concentrate on writing some more songs, and we hope to record it at the end of this year (with, of course, no promises). So far I can say now, taking the finished songs as a basis, it`s going to be a bit more heavy, but at the same time we have more variety. We've all had time to develop musically so the new album is going to be different, but it still has a strong connection to our first album both musically and lyrically."Midnattsol released their debut album, Where Twilight Dwells, in 2005.
