San Francisco Bay Area metallers LAAZ ROCKIT have issued the following update:

"Laaz had a great time at the European shows in April. We would like to thank all the fans that were able to come out and support us . The Keep it True festival in Germany was truly an epic show that will go down in Laaz's history as an ass wupin'. With all the positive feed back from our fan's and sales of the DVD we are pleased to announce that we will be embarking on new record for the masses."
"This is going to be an exciting and long overdue project " say's singer Michael Coons.

"We owe it to our fans and ourselves to make this record a special one" adds guitarist Aaron Jellum.

The band adds: "We hope to get the project done this year for release early '08. We appreciate all the visits and comment's to the site. Keep your eye's peeled and you ears open for more re-releases of our back catalog on Old School Metal Records!"

Laaz Rockit's reissue of their City's Gonna Burn album is avaiable via OSM Records. This will be the first re-release of the band's back catalog. City's Gonna Burn was remastered by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering (www.imperialmastering.com). The artwork was updated by Mark DeVito of MetalBabies (www.metalbabies.com).

The CD includes the following tracklisting: 'City’s Gonna Burn', 'Caught In The Act', 'Take No Prisoners', 'Dead Man’s Eye', 'Forced To Fight', 'Silent Scream', 'Prelude', 'Something More'. Bonus Tracks: 'Prelude To Death', 'Black Leather', 'Silent Scream'.

OSM Records plans to remaster and re-release the Laaz Rockit back catalog all the way up to Annihilation Principals over the next year.
