VOLBEAT - Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil Goes Gold In Denmark

Danish metal band VOLBEAT has received its first gold album for sales in excess of 20,000 copies in Denmark of its sophomore CD, Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil which was released on February 15 this year. The album entered the Danish chart at No. 1 upon its release in late February and stayed in the Top 5 for three months. This month the new (second) single 'Radio Girl' will be released. Volbeatwill support METALLICA on July 13 in Århus, Denmark. The band will play several major festivals this summer in Europe and the album is set to be released in the USA on the Mascot label later this year.
