Update: Rocklahoma Opens Main Stage Competitions

The Rock Fever Fest, also known as Rocklahoma, is giving a shot to three unsigned bands to play the main stage at the three-day festival. The festival, taking place in Pryor, Oklahoma July 13-15, will feature over 25 hard rock bands from POISON to DOKKEN to TWISTED SISTER to GREAT WHITE.

Several bands are vying for spots on the main stage in a competition held at www.jpotmusic.com. There, fans can register for free and vote in three different competions after hearing selections from the contestants.

The competitors are varied and include internationally known entities such as Mandy Lion's WWIII and RHINO BUCKET to up and comers such as Oklahoma natives DOWN FOR FIVE and the veteran New York City band, DAVID SHAW & THE ROUND TRIP.

The competition for Friday and Saturday slots are currently open while the Sunday competition is slated to begin next week.

Rocklahoma will be held July 13-15, at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds four miles north of Pryor, OK just off highway 69.

Friday, July 13: POISON, RATT (NOT full reunion), QUIET RIOT, SLAUGHTER,Y&T;, WHITE LION

Saturday, July 14,: VINCE NEIL, DOKKEN, WINGER, SKID ROW, WARRANT, FIREHOUSE, ENUFF Z NUFF, FASTER PUSSYCAT, BULLETBOYS, BANG TANGO

Sunday, July 15: TWISTED SISTER, W.A.S.P., JACKYL, GREAT WHITE, LA GUNS, BRITNY FOX

One Day General Admission: $ 40.00 plus handling fees and tax

Three Days General Admission: $90.00 plus handling fees and tax

VIP Tickets: $275.00 plus handling fees and tax (good all three days, reserved seating, and all the beer and food you can eat).
