hot flashes news obituary dam

British extreme metallers DAM have posted the following update at their MySpace page:

"Dam and guitarist Lal have parted ways. His contributions have played a crucial part in shaping the sound of Dam, and we are sorry to see him go. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Guitarist and brother-in-arms Dan 'Ropeman' Knight of TED MAUL will be handling live guitar duties for the forseeable future. Dam are currently seeking a full-time replacement.

Dam will be sharing a stage with US death Metal legends OBITUARY for an exclusive UK show at the Underworld in London on Thursday, July 5th. Also playing that night will be eighties thrash heavyweights ONSLAUGHT as well as pure deathblast mentalists DEAD BEYOND BURIED. The show will be at the Underworld and will therefore almost certainly sell out, so buy your tickets now!

Release date...

In other news, the European release date for the new Dam album, The Difference Engine, has been moved forward to September 7th.
