Chicago's TUB RING, who are getting ready to go out on the road once again in support of their debut album for the The End Records, titled The Great Filter, have posted a tour update and some new live videos online.

The post from bassist Trevor Erb reads: "Well, we've returned from the longest portion of The Great Filtour, relatively clean and unscathed. We'll be returning to the road later this week to finish up the last four dates that we have routed for June. Following those dates, Chris and I will be checking into a Betty Ford Clinic when we return home. We'll be out and about for a few dates in July. Barring anything extremely crazy happening, we'll be returning to the road with our labelmates Sleepytime Gorilla Museum in mid-August. We're very excited to be sharing the stage with these fine individuals night after night, and look forward to making some new acquaintances while we're out.

During our downtime in July we'll more than likely begin the thought and creative processes behind writing new material for a new album to be released at some particular juncture in time.

In other news, we've noticed that quite a few live videos from The Great Filtour have made their way onto that thing they call YouTube. In particular there's some great footage from New York City, Toronto, Miami and St. Petersburg as well as a few others. We've enclosed a live performance for 'My Job Here is Done' shot by our friend Craig Irving in Toronto, ON. Here it is.

Also, if you're interested in things like drunken band members singing karaoke... look no further. Chris and I singing 'Summer Nights' from Grease, Kevin singing Britney Spears' '...Baby One More Time'.

Last but not least, our own Jeff Enokian recently did a photo shoot for Michael Kelly Guitars, and will be showing up in Guitar World magazine starting in their October issue, which comes out in August. Keep your eyes peeled for that.

In closing, I hate saying "we'll see you soon" because given our touring schedule, when are we not going to see you? Allow me to try something new... Skate or die, Trevor."
