MIDNATTSOL To Hit The Studio In November

MIDNATTSOL guitarist Christian Hector has issued the following update on the band's forthcoming second album:
"Dear Midnattsol Fans,It's been very long time since we could announce something really sure about doing a new record. We are just about to write our sixth, seventh and eighth song. Five are (let's say 99%) finished already. We plan to enter the studio in the midst of November and finish with mixing and mastering in December.
In the meantime we're discussing possible album titles, cover and layout artworks and so on. At the moment everybody's very busy!

Midnattsol features vocalist Carmen Elise Espenaes, the younger sister of LEAVES' EYES vocalist Liv Kristine. She recently commented on the forthcoming album:
"So far I can say now, taking the finished songs as a basis, it`s going to be a bit more heavy, but at the same time we have more variety. We've all had time to develop musically so the new album is going to be different, but it still has a strong connection to our first album both musically and lyrically."
