VELVET REVOLVER Guitarist SLASH Emotional Over Presenting ALICE COOPER With Mojo's Hero Award

Virgin Media has issued the following report:
SLASH has admitted he found it quite "emotional" presenting his mate ALICE COOPER with Mojo's Hero award.
The former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist said: "I've known him for so long and he's always been a really good friend to me and a huge influence on me, so there was a moment where I was just really proud to be on stage presenting it."
Slash, 41, added that the pair go a long way back: "I've played a lot of stuff with Alice, I've done some recordings with him and a bunch of shows. Guns N' Roses opened for Alice, so I think he knew me when I was like 19."
The curly-haired rocker, who is now a member of VELVET REVOLVER, admitted he would play for Alice again "in a heartbeat".
But he ruled out a reunion with Guns N' Roses saying he loves his new band and that reforming had "never occurred" to him.
