SAVATAGE / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA / DORO guitarist Chris Caffery has checked in from the road with the following update:

"Time is flying by!

Have been really busy and the drives have been so long. We have had terrible internet signals...

LA - Hollywood: "Great night. Thanks so much to Sanaz for coming by and hosting the show. I was a bit on edge that night. I just think when you get to the big cities you tend to hink too much when you play instead of relaxing! Did get to have pizza at the Rainbow. Haven't been there in a zillion years."

Phoenix-Tempe: "This was a good day because we actually got some time to relax by the hotel pool. It was 110 degrees, but it was great to just sit and do nothing for a few hours outside of the bus! We had an instore with the Doro band and headed for the show. Had a little longer of a set for my show. This was fun. the whole night was really good onstage for both bands."

Albequerque: "Or as we are calling it Applecookie! Macaluso was on tour with Yngwie and EZO was on the bill. They are Japanese and he said that when they played this city it sounded like the singer said Applecookie! We arrived in town late and I actually missed me signing at Guitar Center. I am sorry for this! I think it was one of my best playing nights all the way around. My show and Doro. My voice has been holding up great. Some nights I think it will be a litte rough and it is usually those when it is best!"

San Antonio: "We had a super long drive so we did not arrive 'til like 6PM. No soundcheck...had Greek food and before I knew it we were onstage. I think it was one of my best singing nights and the crowd was really fun to play to. I went to seep and the bus headed to Denny's. I jumped out for a quick bite to eat and went to sleep while everyone else went to see the Alamo."

We are now driving to Houston. After tonite we head to Nashville for the last gig. From there I fly with the Doro band to the Czech Republic. Things are so busy. I love playing but I am really looking forward to some time off in July. I am heading on vacation with E for a few days and then heading to my studio to write and relax!

Then it is back to Europe for about a month. Before long it will be TSO time again..."
