Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH invade US shores early next month with only one mission in mind, to annihilate the masses at OZZFest all summer long. The group secured the direct support, non-rotating slot right before second stage headliners HATEBREED, so fans can expect a lengthy set backed with their biggest stage production yet. Their new album, The Apostasy, is set for a July 17th release.

Behemoth will also perform a series of off-dates alongside LAMB OF GOD, Hatebreed and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD. See the band's complete summer touring itinerary here. The band is also this week’s featured artist on MTV News’ Metal File. Check it out here to see Nergal’s response to possibly being banned from performing in their hometown.

Nergal (vocals, guitars) states: "The OZZFest countdown has officially started! We couldn't be more excited. We've been busy making all the necessary preparations for months now and are bringing one hell of a show this time. We are going to have a 30-min set, but we'll make sure to expose the band the best we can. This is by far the biggest production we've ever had in U.S. We're bringing our own crew, new stage gear and most importantly a new album. Expect nothing but insanity!

"I feel that OZZFest is going to be the peak of our career and treat it as a great reward for all the hard work, all the effort we put into this band throughout the years. I'm perfectly aware that it's all thanks to the thousands of fans who brought us to this place. This tour will be a great occasion to pay them back for all their loyalty and devotional faith. You will hear songs spanning our entire career and we decided to do 50 shows to warm up before we go on OZZFest. I wanted to make sure that people witness Behemoth at our very best. We are ready to bring extreme and dangerous music to the masses."
