SAVATAGE / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA / DORO guitarist Chris Caffery recently wrapped up his North American tour with Doro. He has issued the following update:

"Thanks to everyone here in the US for such a great time on this tour.

I am hoping this gets the ball rolling for many more great things with myself and for the Doro band here in America.

Show tonite was fun, frickin hot! Small stage, terrible monitors. Damond (Jinaya/Savatage) came over and took me for wings and fried pickles. Never had those before! He came up and sang and was a ball of energy as usual! He did mess up the words to the songs, but that is ok! He was also doing lights for me and was doing a great job but I could not see my guitar neck at all with the strobe effects he was using so I stopped 'Chained' and asked him to change the way he was doing it!

Everyone here is scrambling to pack and get stuff together. Many people are flying home from here. Bones and Paul are going to take the gear back to NY. Their work is not done for another day or so. Bones did a great job on the tour. Paul was amazing at the live sound for Doro and did his usual stellar job for me. Macaluso was Macaluso. Funny, slamming on the drums and out of control!

I seriously wish we had more shows in the US. I really miss touring for the metal fans here!
