Earache Records has issued the following MUNICIPAL WASTE update:

80's horror fans - get ready to be 'Tromatized' all over again! Legendary independent film company Troma Entertainment will shoot Municipal Waste’s music video for the thrash party anthem ‘Headbanger Face Rip’ from the latest album The Art of Partying, next week in New York.

Founded by Lloyd Kaufman in 1974 Troma are known the world over for their genre-defining B-movie style shock flicks, that specialise in graphic violence, political satire and a bizarre sense of humour. Having produced classics such as ‘The Toxic Avenger’, ‘Class Of Nuke ‘Em High’ and ‘Sgt Kabukiman, NYPD’ this will be the perfect marriage of splatter-style visuals with Municipal Waste’s colourful high energy Thrash assault (http://www.troma.com/).

The concept is being kept secret but we can tell you that it will involve some of the favourite Troma characters such as the Toxic Avenger and Kabukiman.

"The Troma Team and I are huge fans of Earache Records and Municipal Waste, and we're excited to make 'Headbanger Face Rip' into a Truly Tromatic and Toxi-riffic Music Video Experience!" - Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma and Creator of the Toxic Avenger.

Municipal Waste's lyrical miracle himself, Tony Foresta, is equally excited about the upcoming shoot: “Troma's awesome! They are a huge influence on our music, we are working out concepts for an amazing video. Hopefully it will have boobies in it and blood and shit".

Lloyd Kaufman himself sums it up best: "It seems fitting that Municipal Waste would ask the Troma Team to make

a video for 'Headbanger Face Rip', as we've been ripping faces off on film for over 30 years!"

The Art Of Partying is out now on CD (with free patch) and 10 different coloured vinyl LPs on Earache Records in UK/Europe and due July 31st in North America on CD (initial copies come with free patch).
