Norway's Hole In The Sky Festival Expands To Five Days

As previously reported, this year's Hole In The Sky festival is scheduled for August 21st - 25th in Bergen, Norway. Organizers have issued the following update:
"Greetings everyone, it's been a while. Thursday is now completely sold out and there's only a few tickets left for Wednesday. 90% of the weekend tickets are gone too. Here is the deal though. Blood Fire Death is a big celebration of the great traditions of thrash, death and black metal. Although, before we start this great party of ours, we thought we should give everybody a glimpse of what’s going on in the alternative communities. Therefore we've had the great pleasure of inviting some pioneering acts for a little pre party. These artists are taking a lot of inspiration from metal and other contemporary music forms and in the end, moulding it into something completely new and unique. We have dubbed the kick-off, set to take place at Garage on Tuesday, August 21st of Extreme Noise Terror. Do you dare? SHINING, MONOLITHIC and LASSE MARHAUG will grind you down.
