CHRIS CAFFERY Confirmed To Play Powerbox Festival With DORO

SAVATAGE / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA / DORO guitarist Chris Caffery has checked in with the following update:
"I am enjoying this time at home! Started fumbling through a few music ideas last night. Still catching up on day to day things that I missed being away for a couple of months.Doro was just confirmed for the Powerbox Festival in Washington State on Sept. 1st. I am not sure if other US dates will follow but there is a chance there will be a couple weeks following.
On a sad note...I just got word as I was typing that my good friend Bill Perry, one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived, passed away. I am really bummed out. I would always look forward to coming home and hoping my schedule would line up with one of his local gigs. He was a diamond in the rut, if you never got a chance to see him play you missed something very special. Those of you who have seen him know exactly what I am talking about. The Blues and rock guitar breathed through his soul and his hands. This was one bad ass MF.
