DOFKA Enlist New Singer

West Virginia-based metallers DOFKA - who made an appearance on BW&BK;’s Knuckletracks #12 - have issued the following update:
"First and most importantly, we have a new member! Please welcome Mr. Andrew D’Cagna as the new lead vocalist for Dofka! We auditioned singers for what seemed to be eternity! Andrew’s been right in our backyard. Go figure. Andrew is a well known metal celebrity. He comes from two of my all time favorite Tri-State metal bands – The mighty ANGELRUST and the southern chuggin’ WILDERKIN! We’re really happy to have him aboard.Our official debut show is Friday July 27th at Yesterday’s in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia! This is the first show with the all new line-up. So it’s not just Andrew that’s new. It’s ALL NEW! Members are: Andrew D’Cagna - voices, James Babcock - bass, Stu Dowling - guitar, Jim Dofka - guitar, Jeff Kalp - drums.
We’re playing a ton of brand new tunes, some older tunes, some Dyer’s Eve tunes and some surprises from the past! It’s overwhelming, all the emails, feedback and messages we’ve received since announcing this show! It’s surely going to be a night of METAL to remember!
We are working on a new EP entitled Humanity Bleak. At this point, we’re not sure how many tunes will be on it. Drummer Jeff Kalp laid down a ton of drum tracks! We may or may not have a new sampler CD available at the show. We will definitely have new Dofka True Metal T-Shirts.
For the first time in Dofka digital download history! Dofka – Toxic Wasteland will be available to all you IPODers and MP3ers. Catapult Distribution will be handling the duties! Finally you can find us on all of the major Digital Download Networks. It will take about 6 weeks to hit all the digital download junctions, so be patient if you do not see it there right away!
