The following is an update from Miami's BLACK TIDE regarding their recent addition to the OZZfest tour - as a replacement for CIRCUS DIABLO - and subsequent departure:

“A few days ago we got the news that Ozzfest would like for us to join the rest of the tour, playing on the second stage. The bags were packed, the RV was ready to go, and we had just eight hours before we were leaving for the tour. Then, Jagermeister decided that since we were underage, they couldn’t allow us to play on their stage. We had the support of Live Nation and Ozzfest, but because Jagermeister owns the second stage, we can’t play. Sorry that we got anyone’s hopes up and we feel terrible about this whole ordeal.”

As previously reported, Black Tide's debut album will be released next year on Interscope Records.
