Organizers for the Bloodstock Open Air festival, which is set to take place August 16-18 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England, have issued the following update:

"With only eight days to go until this year's monster Bloodstock Festival is upon us, Bloodstock are gearing up for this years festival to be an historic metal Event !

With the Bloodstock Unsigned Stage showcasing 25 young up and coming bands over the Friday and Saturday, the Lava Stage holding the four Metal DJs of the Apocalypse playing your favourite metal bands, and at the end of the night the party does not end as we have the Legendary Metal Karaoke!

Add to this the Metal Market, Beer tent, Full Camping area, Bloodstock signing tent so you can meet and great your favourite bands of the weekend and not forgetting the Storm Troopers livening up this years event !!!

Kerrang! Radio will be present at this years Bloodstock Open Air keeping everyone up to date on this year’s event , as well as some guest announcing on stage from the guys at Metal Hammer!
