BW&BK; has received the following exclusive notes from Firehouse guitarist Bill Leverty and L.A. Guns frontman Phil Lewis about their inclusions:

Leverty on 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree'

"We were contacted by JJ French of Twisted Sister, and asked if we'd want to be a part of this album. Naturally, we said yes. Of all of the songs that were available, "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" really stood out as a song that we all wanted to record. We recorded all of the music and background vocals in my studio, and CJ recorded his lead vocals in his studio. We're very happy with the way our version turned out, as we kept the original vibe but added a twist of FireHouse style hard rock to the tune. I think there will be a lot of people jamming over the holidays, and I hope that this album is in their CD players.

Lewis on 'Run Rudolph Run'

"Original line up Tracii (Guns - guitar), Kelly (Nickels, - bass), Mick (Cripps - guitar) and Steve (Riley -drums) recorded at least ten years ago. It's a CHUCK BERRY song but before internet I could only find it done by Hanson. I like it coz its not too sappy sweet Christmas love crap. I thought it turned out fine. Funny I learned the song the day before we record and the next thing ten years later were talking about it."
