Belgium extreme grind/death powerhouse EMETH have nearly completed writing and arranging material for their third full album and are preparing to enter the studio.

"The band is stoked to announce the fact that they will soon enter the Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland with the Wieslawscy brothers as producers (VADER, DECAPITATED, KRONOS) to record the follow-up to it’s predecessor, Reticulated.

The recordings will start on September 12th. Mixing and mastering is scheduled during late October, aiming for an early 2008 Brutal Bands Release.

Currently the band is in the last stage of an elaborate process of songwriting and pre-production recordings in order to finalize this new slab of modern extremity. It will feature the most mature and ambitious material from the band thus far, demonstrating a great step forward in terms of composition and arrangements.

Recently added second guitar player Valéry Bottin will make his recording appearance and BLOOD RED THRONE (ex-VILE) bassist Erlend Caspersen is recruited to play bass. His creative and non-standard approach to the instrument will add many depth and dynamics to the album.

Due to the Wieslawscy brother's trademark of very big, massive and modern mixings the new Emeth album will display a more diverse and intense sound which should attract both old and new fans as well. Look out for this record!"

Emeth's previous album, Reticulated, was released in April 2006 via Brutal Bands. It was engineered, mixed and mastered by Daniel Bergstrand at Dug Out studios. The band has a great deal of touring experience, including two US tours, one Canadian tour and many festivals in several continents. Emeth played in support of their previous releases alongside DISMEMBER, AVULSED, ABORTED, IMMOLATION, LENG 'TCHE, FUCK THE FACTS, ORIGIN, INCANTATION and KRISIUN.
