Bloodstock Open Air 2008 Dates Announced

Bloodstock Open Air organizers have issued the following update:
"Have you got your metal calendar for 2008 yet? Well keep these dates free: Friday, August 15th, Saturday, August 16th and Sunday, August 17th, 2008. As this year’s monster Bloodstock Open Air Festival gets under way this weekend, we can confirm we are in negotiations with some fantastic bands for 2008 that will exceed many people’s expectations! Tickets for next years Bloodstock Open Air Festival will go on sale from August 19th, just after this years event finishes and not long after that we will start announcing bands for next year! More details will follow shortly on next years ticket prices and incentives for purchasers who buy their tickets early."As previously reported, Bloodstock Open Air 2007 is set to take place August 16th - 18th at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.

Thursday, August 16th - TESTAMENT, HEAD ON, KIUAS, FIREWIND, SIGHT OF EMPTINESS, CHRIS SLADE (drum solo, plus AC/DC tribute with EXPLODER).
Friday, August 17th - LACUNA COIL, DARK TRANQUILITY, NEVERMORE, VOODOO SIX, EPICA, MEMFIS, WOLF,
KORPIKLAANI, SCAR SYMMERTY, EXPLODER.
Saturday, August 18th - IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, SABBAT, DREAM EVIL, FINNTROLL, LEGION OF THE DAMNED,
BENEDICTION, FREEDOM CALL, RISE TO ADDICTION, BEYOND ALL REASON.
