London-based doom metallers ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"The annual Orange Goblin Christmas show has been announced today and tickets will go on sale tomorrow, August 22nd.

This years shennanigans will take place on Saturday, December 8th at the Islington Carling Academy - London.

Support for this special show comes from the mighty North Carolina sludge-meisters SOURVEIN and hard-rocking UK hopefuls JOSIAH!!

However, more VERY special guests hope to be announced very soon, keep checking here for updates. After the success of last year's show, which was filmed for the DVD that accompanies the new Orange Goblin CD Healing Through Fire, we hope to see verybody there again for more of the same drunken, festive mayhem!!!

Also announced is Orange Goblin's debut appearance in Liverpool. The band will play the Barfly in the city on Saturday, January 12th, 2008.

Orange Goblin recorded in the famous Studio 4 at BBC Maida Vale Studios last Friday for an exclusive Radio 1 Rock Show session to be aired at a later date on Dan Carter's show. The band recorded 4 songs ('Scorpionica', 'They Come Back (Harvest of Skulls)', 'The Ballad Of Solomon Eagle' and 'Blue Snow'). Keep checking here for news on the transmission date.

Don't forget... OG headline the first night of an all weekend festival of heavy music at THe Phoenix in Dartford on Saturday, September 1st. RAGING SPEEDHORN headline the next night at the same venue!
