ANGER AS ART Featured In Mexican Version Of Playboy

Los Angeles-based thrashers ANGER AS ART have issued the following update:
"We will be doing a couple of one -off shows over the next two weeks. First is Friday, August 31 at the Relax Bar in Hollywood, CA - co-headlining with Agent Steel (this room has a capacity of 100. AGENT STEEL leaves for European tour the following day). Next Saturday, September 8, Anger As Art will be headlining at Club Vegas in Salt Lake City UT. Both albums (on Old School Metal Records) will be for sale at the shows - or you can find more info online on our MySpace page . Also somewhat newsworthy, Anger As Art was recently featured in that notorious metal magazine - Playboy. Actually in the July 2007 issue of the Mexican version (with Lauren Sugihara on the cover).""Funny, now I can honestly say that I was reading it for the articles", says main man Steve Gaines. "We have no business being in Playboy - we are hideous to look at, and certainly not 'stylish'. So it's really cool for us, and for thrash metal."
