As previously reported, the Sky Academy 2007 took place on August 22nd - 26th in Hollywood, CA at the Musicians Institute. The seminar and master classes were conducted by Roth and featured joint appearances with notable guest teachers. The highlight of the event were the two Sky Academy concerts which featured Paul Gilbert (ex-MR. BIG, RACER X), Robby Krieger (Doors), Steve Smyth (ex-NEVERMORE, ex-TESTAMENT), Chris Poland (ex-MEGADETH), Tony Franklin (bass - BLUE MURDER, THE FIRM, WHITESNAKE) and Jeff Scott Soto (ex-JOURNEY, TALISMAN) among many others.
