Renowned Norwegian Actor Helge Jordal To Appear On New VULTURE INDUSTRIES Album Cover
September 3, 2007, 17 years ago
The well-known Norwegian actor Helge Jordal will appear on both the front and back covers of The Dystopia Journals, the upcoming album from VULTURE INDUSTRIES. The band is of course extremely pleased to have an actor as renowned and skilled as Jordal appearing on the cover, especially as he was the first choice for the task.
A native of Bergen, Jordal first listened to the album and read through the lyrics, and, liking what he heard and read, agreed to take part. The cover illustrations show Jordal strangling himself, and relate to the album’s lyrics that have inner turbulence as a central theme. The pictures were taken in the Bien Bar, which is located in an old pharmacy in Bergen, and are exclusive for the release.
The Dystopia Journals will be released worldwide on September 10th through Dark Essence Records. Containing eight tracks of gloomy and melodic metal, spiced up with strong doses of doom and progressive-rock, the album was recorded and mixed in the Conclave & Earshot studios in Bergen, and produced by Bjørnar E Nilsen who also sings and plays keyboards in the band.
