Report: The PINK FLOYD And SYD BARRET Story Available On DVD

The PINK FLOYD And SYD BARRET Story, which chronicles the rise and fall of musician Syd Barrett and the band he helped launch to legendary status, will be available on DVD on September 18th. The package includes two discs with over two and a half hours of DVD extras, including lengthy, unedited interviews from all members of Pink Floyd. A limited edition run of 5,000 will also be available in special packaging with 10 pieces of reproduction memorabilia in a special printed envelope.
Band members Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright relate the poignant story of the gifted musician, who succumbed to a drug-fueled breakdown. The film includes early concert footage, as well as insights from former girlfriends, landlords, roommates, producers, managers, friends and famous fans of the progressive rock band.
The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story will also be screened in the following cities:
