DESCEND INTO NOTHINGNESS Issue New EP; Confirmed For Trois Rivieres Metalfest IV

Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec-based metallers DESCEND INTO NOTHINGNESS have issued their new EP, Empowerment Of The Oppressed, via Cryogenic Records. The EP contains four brand new tracks produced by the acclaimed Yannick St. Amand (DESPISED ICON). Samples can be heard at this location.
The band have also issued the following update: "We just played our first round of shows with the newly reformed line-up. Last weekend the band made appearances at the annual FME Fest in Rouyn-Noranda, and kicked off the third night at the historic 25 Years of Quebec Metal Fest in Montreal (read full report here). Vocalist Ian Campbell also had the honour of being one of the speakers for the induction of VOIVOD's Denis "Piggy" D'Amour into the Quebec Metal Hall of Fame."
Descend Into Nothingnes are the latest addition to Trois Rivieres Metalfest IV which is being held from November 5th-6th at Le Maquisart in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Other acts on the bill include: CRYPTOPSY, GHOULUNATICS, MAGISTER DIXIT, DESPISED ICON, A PERFECT MURDER, UNEXPECT, TORN WITHIN (featuring members of NEURAXIS), MISERY INDEX, GFK, ANHKREHG and AUGURY. 14 bands total will take part in this year's show.
