September 16, 2007, 17 years ago
FIREWIND will re-release their 2002 album Between Heaven And Hell in Japan through King Records on October 10. It will feature new artwork, liner notes from guitarist/founder Gus G. and producer David T. Chastain, and two bonus tracks. Originally released with different cover artwork in Japan, the re-release will have the European cover which was done by legendary artist Kristian Wahlin (King Diamond, DISSECTION, AT THE GATES).
Gus G. has issued the following statement:
"We've wanted to re-release our debut album for sometime now, since it's been very hard to find or even in some territories, out of print. Also, we finally make it available to our Japanese fans with the European cover which I personally always liked best. Since the album's coming out the very same day as our Japan tour starts, we will add a few songs from this album on our set list.I also want to say that we're working on re-releasing it in the rest of the world as well. This will probably happen early 2008. More details to come soon."
The tracklist is as follows: 'Between Heaven And Hell', 'Warrior', 'World Of Conflict', 'Destination Forever', 'Oceans', 'Tomorrow Can Wait', 'Pictured Life', 'Firewind Raging', 'I Will Fight Alone', 'Northern Sky', 'Fire', 'Who Am I', 'End Of An Era' (bonus track), 'Fire' (demo version - bonus track), 'Destination Forever' (demo version - bonus track).
