hot flashes news destiny

On September 21st, Swedish power metallers DESTINY will enter the studio to record their seventh album. A press release follows:

After endless delays it’s finally time for the Gothenburg based band, who also celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, to finally record its new album. The production will be handled by Ken Olsson whom also was involved with the band s debut Beyond All Sense (1985) and Nothing Left To Fear (1991).

The album will feature a total of nine brand new songs who probably more than ever before captures the bands self named style of Mörkrock (Dark Rock).

So far only the music is composed and ready to be recorded. The band will not complete the lyrics and melody lines until a new vocalist is recruited.

So far quite a few promising vocalists have tried out for the position. A final audition will take place when all but the vocals for the new album has been recorded.

We will be very careful to choose a vocalist with a strong voice that suits the new music well. It will also be of great importance the he will have a good personality that works well with the rest of the band, according to the bands main song writer Stefan Björnshög.

Any one that is interested in the position as lead singer for DEstiny should contact the band via info@destinymetal.com

Today’s line up of Destiny features Stefan Björnshög on bass, Birger Löfman on the drums and Micke Åberg on guitar."
