PRYMARY Ready To "Start Hammering Out Another Album"
September 17, 2007, 17 years ago
Chris Quirarte, drummer for Southern California progressive metallers PRYMARY, has issued the following update:
"Hello out there! I apologize for the long span of time between updates. Mike (Di Sarro - vocals), Sean (Entrikin - guitar), and I have just returned from a fiveweek tour opening for DREAM THEATER with my other band REDEMPTION. Mike served as tour manager while Sean filled on guitar duties and when Nick Van Dyk was unavailable and also worked as a guitar tech. It was a surreal experience to say the least and an enjoyable way to spend the time. Many thanks to the other guys in Redemption for doing such a beautiful job. Also the crew deserves praise as well for lugging the gear and doing the daily ritual of setting up and tearing down. Of course Smiley and Rob are owed a great deal of thanks for patiently waiting for us to return before continuing on the writing we had already started for our new upcoming album. It should not be forgotten to thank John, Tammy, and everyone who made the Texas Madfest shows go off so well. Prymary had a blast in Houston and really enjoyed the crowd and hospitality. Which brings me to the present. After some time off we are ready to go back to the rehearsal room and start hammering out another album. No specific direction has presented itself just yet although I do see it as a continuation of the sound we attained for The Tragedy Of Innocence album. Thanks to everyone out on tour who I had the pleasure to speak to. Thanks to all the Prymary fans who made it to the Redemption shows and were kind enough to express there interest in us. Things might get quiet around here again though as we continue our writing but we will try to keep you informed with our progress. On a final note, I would like to announce that I am officially endorsing Aquarian Drumheads now. They are a great company and really came through for me on this tour. There products are fantastic and the people there are amazing. Check them out at
