September 17, 2007, 17 years ago
An interview with living legend RONNIE JAMES DIO (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, ELF) is going to air this Thursday (September 20th) at 2 PM (EST) / 8 PM (CET), at Hard Rock Radio LIve.
The interview was taken on behalf of the Greek Rock Hard magazine by Dj Painkiller (real name: Orpheus Spiliotopoulos) on June 30th, 2007 at Rockwave festival (Greece), prior to HEAVEN AND HELL's headlining appearance that day. The particular interview has already been published and is part of the magazine's special issue on Black Sabbath, currently available all over Greece.
The interview is approximately 25 minutes long and will air in 4 parts during Dj Painkiller's show (2 - 4 PM). Commented Orpheus Spiliotopoulos: "It was a great honor getting to chat with one of rock and metal's actual
fathers! Dio is one of the friendliest, humble and kindest human beings out there. I think people will really enjoy what he had to tell me, especially the parts during which he spoke about his future with Black Sabbath, the upcoming sequel to Magica and a new HEAR N' AID effort!"
