THE AGONIST Debut New Video On Headbangers Ball; Check In From The Road

Montreal’s THE AGONIST will see their new video, for the track 'Business Suits And Combat Boots' (shot by director David Brodsky), make its Headbanger's Ball debut this Saturday, September 22nd on MTV2 at 8 PM (PST)/11 PM (EST). The Agonist recently completed a handful of dates alongside EPICA and VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, leading them immediately into a month-long North American tour with SONATA ARCTICA. Alissa states: “The Sonata Arctica tour is going amazing and we are looking forward to hitting all of the cities we haven't been to before. I personally find it hard to be away from home, as this is the furthest I have ever been. It's an emotional rollercoaster, especially for someone as invested as I am. I have to just keep my goals within eye-shot and my chin up. Even at shows where the crowd doesn't know or care about us and the promoter is treating us like shit, the saving grace is that there are usually at least a few people in the crowd mouthing the lyrics along with the songs. That is what drives me and keeps me going. Seeing that someone, even if it's just one person, took the time to enjoy and learn my songs. That is amazing and makes any show a good one. Thank you for that.
“The video for ‘Business Suits And Combat Boots’ turned out better than we ever expected. There was a nice balance of elements that we as a band had control over, and areas where David's creativity came into play. We think that it is visually beautiful, and along with the lyrics, makes for interesting visual interpretations. We look forward to seeing you all soon.”
