Due to the high demand for tickets for the Belgian appearance of Maniac’s SKITLIV, and all-girl Japanese band GALLHAMMER on October 4, the venue has been moved to the Negasonic in Aalst. The revised tour schedule is as follows:
September
30 - Club Maiden - Oslo, NorwayOctober
1 - Spanien - Aarhus, Denmark2 - Loppen - Copenhagen, Denmark
3 - K17 - Berlin, Germany
4 - Negasonic - Aalst, Belgium
5 - Baroeg - Rotterdam, Netherlands
Skitliv’s line-up for the tour will include SHINING’s Niklas Kvarforth on guitar. Kvarforth is the band’s recording guitarist, who will play live with them whenever his schedule with SHINING will permit. Also playing will be Skitliv’s new bass player Spacebrain, the sculptor who in the past has designed Mayhem’s stage sets, and who is currently working on designs for Skitliv, as well as working with Maniac on a video. Some of the designs will be debuted during the tour.
Maniac and Kvarforth will hit the road together again in December, when Skitliv joins Shining and Austrian Black Metallers HELLSAW for a 19 date European tour; full details of which will be available once the remaining date has been finalised.
Unfinished tracks from Skitliv’s forthcoming album, Glem Aldri Korset including 'Amfetamin', with current MAYHEM front man Attila joining Maniac on vocals, and 'Hollow Devotion', with spoken intro and outro by GORGOROTH’s Gaahl; together with Maniac’s video for 'Virescit Volnere Virtus', can be found on the band’s official MySpace page.
