Dutch thrashers DETONATION are happy to announce they've been together for ten years this summer. Started as a side project in 1997, in a much more black metal influenced style, the band can now look back to 10 years of great fun, injuries, booze, tours, pain, hate, two mini-CD's, three full-length albums, and well over 200 shows including many international ones. To celebrate this fact, Detonation will play an exclusive and special show at their home town venue dB'S in Utrecht on saturday the 26th of October. Here they will perform songs from throughout their entire career including some covers (you might be surprised ;) and songs that haven't been played live for many years. There's a lot more to that show but you'll have to be there to find out! To add to the celebrations and show our appreciation towards everyone that has been supporting Detonation, the band issues three contests:

International contest

1st prize: An exclusive limited edition LP-version of 'An Epic Defiance' containing extended artwork + a signed copy of their latest album 'Emission Phase' + their first ever official release 'Lost Euphoria' + a Detonation T-shirt + some bonus material

2nd prize: A signed copy of 'Emission Phase' + Detonation T-shirt + bonus material.

3rd prize: A copy of 'Lost Euphoria' + a Detonation T-shirt.
