Finland's SHADE EMPIRE entered Studio 33 in Kuopio on October 1st to begin recordings for their new album, expected in March via Dynamic Arts Records.

The band have issued the following studio diary entry:

"So it was my turn to start wankings. The beginning for this sessions could have been a little bit easier. Day before I was at the dentist... or at least I thought so. The dentist molested my right eye totally numbless. Yep, you heard it right. She put the anaesthetic totally wrong nerve. My right side of the head didn't take any reactions at all. Great! Lots of buranas and other medications at night and rock 'n' roll!

Well, morning I headed to "Kolo", where boys were already wanking. Quickly gropped guitar gears there and headed to DLX to get punch of pedals and other issues. Then we started to find THE GUITAR sound. Tested tons of machines and we were close. Dinner at midday and after that seekings for THE GUITAR SOUND continued. We were ready about 4 o'clock PM... so sound testings took almost all day. We use Marshall and Mesa cabinets... and also Krank head and Mesa Dual Rectifier head... hmmm.. sweet.. also spice that little bit somekind of tube screamer. Must say it dig, it dig a lot.

Then we started to record Kasino. Thought that we are quick enough to get that nailed but nooouu that was totally utopia. Mr Hitler arrived and pushed me to maximum all the time. So we are making shit thight as hell with this record! No question about that! Tomorrow we have a fresh start to start nailing. Hopefully tomorrow will be rewarding day!
