German metallers ATARGATIS check in with the following update:

"As of today, we are searching for an ambitious and commited lead guitarist.

Our present guitarist Azmo will stay with Atargatis only until the end of the year for time and professional reasons as he wants to withdraw from the semi-professional sector and to consecrate himself to his side-projects.

As previously reported, Atargatis recently announced that the release date for their upcoming new album, Nova, has been postponed until November 16th. The album was originally scheduled to drop via Massacre Records on October 26th.

Nova was recorded at Helion Studios (DARKSEED, EQUILIBRIUM, SYNCRONOMICA) in Munich, Germany under the direction of Seref A. Badir, and is the group's follow-up to their debut album, Wasteland.

The band previously commented on the new album, stating, "Our new album is going to be even more epic, even heavier and even more powerful than the debut feature. As already done on the debut album, female violinist Tialupa is going to play the violin on the new album. Again, guest musicians are going to play on the new Atargatis album."
