James Fogarty, mainman of industrial politico-metal project THE BOMBS OF ENDURING FREEDOM, narrowly escaped arrest today whilst transporting a piece of artwork.

The Bombs Of Enduring Freedom are currently holding an exhibition of artwork releated to, and coinciding with, the release of their self-titled limited edition debut album, at the Red Gate Gallery in Brixton, London.

"...apparently a neighbour saw us loading one of the pieces for the exhibiton into our car. The piece of work resembles a bomb, which is placed so it appears to be coming out of the ground. We were just leaving Brighton, when we were pulled over and asked to step out of the car. We were then told in the strongest possible terms to explain ourselves. Once we had, we were basically told that we could continue to the gallery, but that the piece must be covered up until we reached our destination, and that it be destroyed once the exhibition was finished."

The offending artwork (pictured above) can also be viewed here.

The free exhibition takes place at the Red Gate Gallery in Brixton, London from October 13th to 18th, with an album listening session on the 12th.
