CHILDREN OF BODOM bassist Henkka T. Blacksmith has checked in with the following studio update:
"What' s up everybody?It s Henkka writing from the studio. First week here is soon over, and Jaska has done his part! Sounds good! Couple more cover songs to do, and the drums are done. We will start checking Alexi's guitar sounds today, so that he can start recording guitar tracks over the weekend! Lots of work to do here for the next weeks, but I cant wait to hear the new stuff ready. We will put some photos here, and you can also check the studio diary on www.cobhc.com."

In other news, a studio picture gallery has been launched on Children Of Bodom's official mySpace page. Go to this location to check it out. Registration is required.
As previously reported, Children Of Bodom will see their forthcoming new album available in Europe on April 7th via Spinefarm. Prior to the album's release, a new single will be available as of March 3rd.
Children Of Bodom are scheduled to play London, England's Astoria venue on March 8th. Fellow Finns MOONSORROW and KIUAS have been confirmed as the support acts.
