HEAVEN SHALL BURN Announce New Album Title

Guitarist Maik from German extreme metallers HEAVEN SHALL BURN has issued the following update:
“The new album will be called Iconoclast (Part1: The Final Resistance). It works on two levels: each song tells a story that is rooted in reality. However, all songs are linked with an overall story about a cast of warriors called Iconoclasts – obviously, we won’t give you any details about those warriors just yet."According to a press release, get ready for the whole story unfolding until the release of Iconoclast in Europe at the end of January and in North America, early February 2008. After locking themselves in the Rape Of Harmonies Studios for the recording, and then traveling to Denmark for the mix of Iconoclast with Tue Madsen they felt the urge for some live-action again. Make sure you catch them playing Cologne, Underground this Saturday (October 20th) with PITFALL and THE SET UP.
Adds Maik: “To celebrate the end of our recordings we spontaneously decided to play an exclusive show in Underground in Cologne this Saturday, so October 20th. Our last show in Cologne was crazy and we haven’t played there in a while. We are really looking forward to rock out live instead of in front of producers who keep correcting us. We might even play one new song already – just come and find out for yourself. We are definitely going to have a blast!!!”
