IFPI Platinum Milestone For BON JOVI's Cross Road

According to Lars Brandle from Billboard.biz, BON JOVI 1994 hits collection Cross Road (Mercury) pushed past the eight million European shipments milestone in the third quarter, according to IFPI Platinum Europe certifications published today by the international trade body. Since the IFPI began its awards in 1996, just two albums have surpassed the feat of Cross Road. Both efforts belong to Epic-artist CELINE DION, whose Falling Into You from 1996 and Let's Talk About Love the following year have each collected nine IFPI Platinum Europe Awards.
