Season of Mist reveal the new releases from the Underground Activist division.

After BESTIAL MOCKERY's Slaying The Life, PEST and HEGEMON, whose upcoming albums are respectively entitled Rest In Morbid Darkness and Contemptus Mundi will be the next bands on Underground Activistst.

Here are the bands' comments regarding this new collaboration:

"This year marks the end of the first cursed decade of Pest. Nothing has changed during these ten years really. No new members, no live performances, no compromising with sound or music, no Myspace shit, no publicity, no money, etc. Black Metal is the game we play... After having recorded three demos, two albums, one mini, one EP and one 7" single along the way, we have now completed the work on the new full-length. Nine tracks of violent sickness, lurking horror and triumphant bloodshed, all in the true spirit of blackened demo Metal. Decadence, darkness and death. A theme to the end of this world..."
"Hegemon changed labels each time the band released an album, and the third one makes no exception. Season of Mist is the best thing that could happen to us, since the label's fold and work totally match our expectations. We are satisfied with this deal because it will allow our new album to be exposed at full range, which we see as a reward after 11 years spent working in the shadows. The toil and commitment we have involved in Contemptus Mundi are very strong. Hegemon are still this dark entity with no other goal than to spread our war music and rage, miles away from the "trendy" side of today's black metal scene. We are our music and nothing else. That's why the line-up will remain secret - only the result matters! Contemptus Mundi ought to be served on a silver plate, which will definitely happen thanks to Season of Mist. Aï-Ibûr-Shapu! "

Pest - Rest In Morbid Darkness and Hegemon - Contemptus Mundi will be released on January 21st, 2008 and February 5th, 2008 in the US.
