DIECAST Kick Off US Headlining Tour; Continue Search For New Bass Player
October 29, 2007, 17 years ago
After an extremely busy year DIECAST will wrap-up the Internal Revolution touring campaign with their first headlining US tour in over three years. The massive two month trek, which also has EKOTREN and MOWER in the support slots, kicks off on November 3rd. See the band’s MySpace page for the complete tour itinerary.
Diecast greatly expanded their fanbase after two massive North American tours alongside SEVENDUST, in addition to breaking through to Active Rock radio with the 'Fade Away' and 'Nothing I Could Say' singles. The group has already begun the songwriting process for their new full-length release and are now poised to deliver their most focused and dynamic album yet.
Paul Stoddard (vocals) states: “Hey everyone. We are really psyched about our up coming headlining tour. This will be the last Diecast run until the next album and it's a chance for all diehard fans and friends to get the full on hour long headlining experience. Tickets are selling great and the first show in New Jersey is already sold out, so if you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you should get them now. We are also still accepting YouTube video auditions for our new bass player/background vocalist position. If you want to audition please send us two videos (one of you playing and one of you singing). You can do it with a simple web cam and then send a link to diecastseeksbassplayer@gmail.com. We look forward to receiving your submissions as well as partying with everybody on the road these next couple of months.”
Paul also recently checked in with MTV2’s Headbanger's Ball to give his “Bang of The Week.” Click here to see what extreme video he selected.
