October 31, 2007, 17 years ago
As previously reported, Montreal's UNEXPECT were scheduled to make their television debut this weekend with a live performance on Fox TV's Fearless Music. Due to the networks coverage of the world series, the episode has been rescheduled. The following is an update from the band regarding the delay: "As I'm sure you know by now, our performance at the Fearless Music TV show did not air this past Saturday because of game three of the World Series. It seems like
sport won the day, but don't worry! The episode featuring 'Desert Urbania' will now be airing this upcoming Saturday, November 3rd at 12:30AM on Fox 5 in NYC. Again, for those not in NYC, check out the time and channel listing on the Fearless Music website to find out when and where it airs. And please take a few seconds to vote for us on their website in the bottom left corner of the page, we'll be grateful… we'll give you some cookies dipped in moon slime!"
Fearless Music is currently airing on network affiliates across the US including the number one market in the country, New York City, on FOX airing Saturday nights at 12:30 AM. The show is now available in 27 million households on TV and our website gets more than a million hits
a day.
Currently in its fifth season, Fearless Music features established, as well as up-and-coming bands, as they perform live in our recording studio… very similar to the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test show from the 1970's, Austin City Limits, Sessions at West 54th St., etc. except without a studio audience.
Unexpect are currently playing a few shows across the East Coast, and will head out on tour this January with TRAIL OF TEARS for a full North American tour.
