On September 24th, 1980, it was announced by Chicago radio stations that tickets for four Zeppelin shows (November 10, 12, 13 & 15) would be going on sale the next day via a special mail-order form in the Chicago Tribune. On the day of sale, the excitement was extinguished as fans would learn of the sudden and tragic passing of John Bonham. The shows never happened, yet these tickets were printed for these appearances. The original Zeppelin as we knew it was done...

In 1986, Metro Pulse Inc. acquired them from Chicago Stadium and the rest is (even more...) history.
