BBC Radio 2 is re-running their hour long Philip Lynott special tomorrow (Saturday, November 3rd) at 8 PM (UK time) at this location.

The BBC's programme listing magazine The Radio Times repeats a claim that Phil Lynott died of a heroin overdose (claim was made when the documentary was originally broadcast, and has never been corrected, although it was pointed out to them).

Tim Barnes has sent this mail to BBC:

"I note that your listing for your excellent documentary about Philip Lynott, broadcast on Radio 2 at 8:30 PM on January 7th, claimed that he died of a heroin overdose. This is not the case, I am sure his family, friends and legions of fans/supporters would appreciate a correction."

If someone else would like to write to BBC about this you can write to radio.times@bbc.co.uk .
