XFM Online has issued the following report:

JIMMY PAGE has revealed that his fractured finger means LED ZEPPELIN will not write or perform any new material at their forthcoming gig, despite initial plans.

Speaking at last night's Classic Rock Roll Of Honours the 63 year old guitarist relayed his own dissapointment that he'd fractured his finger, explaining that the injury means there'll be no new songs for the legendary group.

"We haven't had enough time to do anything like that", he admitted. "We probably would've had two albums done by now if I hadn't hurt my finger."

But Page did hint that the show would essentially be a greatest hits set, revealing, "I can't give away all the titles but it's pretty much all the songs that people would want to hear, and the ones that we'd want to play too, so that's a great chemistry."
