DESTRUCTOR Confirmed For Wacken Open Air Festival

Cleveland thrash metal legends DESTRUCTOR have been confirmed for next summer's Wacken Open Air Festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany.
"The opportunity of a lifetime", says lead vocalist/guitarist Dave Overkill. "The band is very excited and looking forward to the whole event. Having a chance to play the world's largest heavy metal festival is a bonus and we're honored to have been invited."Destructor is the second band Auburn Records has arranged to play W:O:A, as long time labelmates BREAKER performed back in 2000.
The festival will be headlined next year by IRON MAIDEN. The current line-up includes: AT THE GATES, AVANTASIA, AXXIS, CARCASS, CHILDREN OF BODOM, CREMATORY, DESTRUCTOR, DREAM OF AN OPIUM EATER, EXCREMENTORY GRINDFUCKERS, HATEBREED, IRON MAIDEN, KAMELOT, KREATOR, KRYPTERIA, LORD BELIAL, SALTATIO MORTIS, SONATA ARCTICA, THE BONES.

Destructor's new full length studio CD, Forever In Leather, has just been released by Auburn Records. The album was produced by BREAKER's Don Depew and features 11 brand new Destructor originals.
