8th Annual Cape Breton International Drum Festival Features Auction Of DEF LEPPARD, STYX, VANILLA FUDGE Collectibles

According to PRWeb.com, the organizers of the 8th Annual Cape Breton International Drum Festival, Bruce and Gloria Jean Aitken, today (November 15th) announced the festival lineup to date at a Gala evening held at the Jenu Multi-Purpose Room, Membertou Trade & Convention Centre, Sydney, Cape Breton. Preceding this was an auction of collectibles from drummers and supergroups such as DEF LEPPARD, STYX, THE STAWBS, INXS, VANILLA FUDGE, DIRE STRAITS, and GENTLE GIANT. The lineup proclamation was followed by a drum clinic by the legendary Mike Clark of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters. The show was emceed by award-winning drummer/educator Bruce Aitken and local personality, Scott Boyd.
The festival is being staged at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre in Membertou, Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada on Saturday April 26 and Sunday April 27, 2008.
