According to the band's MySpace profile, Florida-based metallers COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN have recruited to their ranks DEICIDE drummer Steve Asheim. Further details to follow.

As previously reported, Council Of The Fallen mastermind Kevin Quirion has contacted BW&BK; with news that the band are scheduled to perform at Crowbar in Ybor City, Tampa, FL on November 24th.

The performance is in celebration of the club's Grand Opening. Also on the bill are LEFT IN ASHES, BLOOD BY DAWN and FLESH MOB.

Council Of The Fallen will also make an appearance on Cacophony Metal Radio on November 26th. The band will perform live their three track EP, Sever All Negatives, which they recorded at Mana Studios.

The Sever All Negatives EP will be printed soon and then passed along to labels. Performing on the EP are the new Council Of The Fallen lineup: Kevin Quirion (guitar, vocals), Dave Kinkade (drums) and Scott Patrick (bass).

Tracks on the EP include: 'Introspection And The Loss Of Denial', 'As If A Rose I Wither', 'Reflection, An Endless Endeavour'.

Meanwhile, Council Of The Fallen are working on their upcoming full-length album, An Examination Of Being. The vocals will be entirely re-recorded and then it will be finished.

The lineup for the album: Kevin Quirion (vocals, guitars, bass), Derek Roddy (drums). Tracks to appear on An Examination Of Being include: 'Introspection And The Loss Of Denial', 'As If A Rose I Wither', 'Reflection, An Endless Endeavour', 'New Dawn Emerging', 'Deterioration Edict', 'As Long As I Have Myself I Am Not Alone', 'Scars Upon My Flesh', 'Bloodoath', '...In The Mirror', 'Seeking The Prophets'.

This album will be self-released, unless a label decides to pick it up.
